As many of you know, my roommate, Belen, and I changed apartments in the beginning of December. The main reason for moving was that we didn´t have heating in our last apartment and we didn´t want to repeat that again this year. Good thing, too, cause this winter has been much much colder than last. Well, we moved from a second floor/two bedroom/one bathrooom/living room/kitchen without utensils apartment to . . . luxury! Ok, not quite but it definitely is nice. Now we have another roommate, a co-worker of Belen, Monse. Spanish. Belen is from Argentina (the Patagonia). We now live on the 5th floor and have a wonderful terrace that we are planning to use a lot this summer :) The apartment came fully equiped too, meaning lots of silverware (I think Belen and I lived off three spoons the last year) plates, pots, pans, microwave, glasses, wine glasses, an orange juice maker. . . etc. As you can see, a big improvement. The only complaint I have is the electrical stove, that once you are used to gas it takes a bit to like
The lovely kitchen opening up to the laundry room with windows to an inner patio
We now have two bathrooms. This one I share with Belen. Gotta love the red.
Three bedrooms. This is my bedroom with window to the terrace. Anyone interested in visiting? We have lots of extra mattresses as I have a truddle bed and Belen has two twin beds in her bedroom. No excuses now:)
Another shot of my bedroom
And my favorite room, the living room. It is so open and bright. The yuca plants came along with the apartment too which adds a lot. There is another small room off of the living room that opens to another inner patio. Lots of space. Lots of light. Nice place. So, friends and family, now that you know what to expect here in Spain, no excuses to come visit me! Lots of love to ya all! Miss you

Amy, I really like your new apartment!! I hope you are having a good week. My friend got Rosetta Stone (Spanish) for her birthday and let me borrow it while she was on spring break last week :) I really like it, but I started from level 1 so I'm getting good at saying things like perro and gato :). You are in my thoughts and prayers! Miss you!

Your apartment looks great Amy! Thanks for posting the pictures. Still hoping Keith and I can come for a visit sometime!
