It´s raining, it´s pouring, the old man is snoring. . .

While I was passing my time in California for the holidays, here in Spain it was raining. Supposedly they have received in two weeks the amount of rain equls to what they normally receive for the whole year. And it´s still raining. ValdepeƱas grape fields totally covered in water
As you can see by the grass on the rails, the day before this bridge was submerged by water

The river that runs by ValdepeƱas on the right connected by a newly formed one on the left

When the sun comes out: double rainbow!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all! from Amy

My Christmas vacation was filled with joy and fun. I was able to spend a few days with my friends in cold, winter-wonderland Chicago before going to Escondido and being with the family for about two weeks. Most of my days were occupied by my nieces and nephews who are growing up so fast! Some highlights was the friends reunion at Hannah´s house, day of climbing with Phil in Eagle Peak, and going to the beach with all the sobrinos :) Eagle Peak at sunset
